Clearly I’m not aware of all the copycats that get made especially if they’re knocked off from past seasons, so this Hall of Shame, a Pierre Hardy Pump vs. this Nine West ”Bonfire” Pump, was actually brought to my attention. I love tips, so feel free to pass along any knockoffs you spot!

When we first launched Hall of Shame, we had no idea the controversy and anger it would cause! For clarification, The Shoe Goddess does not believe that you have to be spend thousands of dollars to be fashionable. In fact, we often review shoes that are inexpensive. But what we can’t condone under any circumstances is stealing someone’s work. Whether it’s a scam where counterfeit items are sold (see Scam Alert) or a shoe that’s almost exactly the same as a designer original but sold under a legitimate brand, it’s not right.
