Transitions in the weather, although inconsistent this winter, are upon us. We have just become accustomed the extra layers and extra buckles. And, I think honestly I am starting to like it. Layers add depth and personality to an outfit. Accessories are key in the fall and winter months when staying warm requires tights, scarves, hats, gloves and obviously a cute pair of boots.
Daylight savings time is here and to me that signals the launch of a whole new season. The winter months are a necessary evil so that we can appreciate shedding our layers and exposing our pale legs to the world. So what to do with a pair of boots that you so loved during the winter months? They do not have to go into hibernation with your ski gear.
Your shorter boots and booties are great in the fall but can totally be worn all summer long. Imagine our street style volunteer here without leggings and a blazer. She would be wearing a cute pair of booties with a summer floral inspired jumper. These boots were purchased at a flea market for just $25. That is a great deal on a pair of shoes that can be worn year-round!
Keep your eyes out for great winter outfits that can transform into spring ensembles!
