Boutique Spotlight: Jeffrey Atlanta

jeffrey.jpgOn Saturday, I died and went to shoe heaven. I had heard that Jeffrey Atlanta was great, but I was not prepared to be so in love! Located in the trendy Phipps Plaza (Buckhead area in Atlanta) Jeffrey is nothing short of fabulous.

Jeffrey Kalinsky is not only known for bringing impeccable and carefully edited high-fashion selections to Atlanta, but also for his insistence on southern hospitality and treating his customers with respect and kindness. These factors were immediately evident as I entered the store. I left my 3-year-old son, Jackson, and husband, Luke, in the sitting area outside the store because I didn’t want to be distracted (or harassed about spending too much money by my husband!!) As I walked in, my eyes were immediately drawn to racks and racks of designer shoes! I spotted buttery leathers, sky-high stilettos, fabulous exotics all in array of gorgeous colors! Christian Louboutin, Prada, Gucci, Manolo Blahnik, Yves Saint Laurent, Jimmy Choo, Brian Atwood, and the list goes on and on! I will mention that the store also features apparel and bags, but I was solely focused on shoes this day!

As I began my browsing, I was greeted by my new favorite sales associate ever: Keith Bryan! He was so kind, and not at all snooty or rude like sales associates in many high-end boutiques. I picked a few styles and he brought them out to try. I apologized for being a little jittery from not feeling well, and he immediately brought me some water, and made sure I felt OK! We chatted about my favorite shoes and The Shoe Goddess, of course! Once he knew my size and my style preferences, he brought out a huge stack of shoes he thought I would like! Sigh….shoe heaven! Everything he brought me was gorgeous, and I wanted them all! Some of the styles, were shoes Florence and I have not seen in other stores or online, so I was pretty giddy! I ended up narrowing a huge pile down to three choices, but I could’ve spent all day there and bought every shoe I tried on!
If you are ever in Atlanta, you must visit Jeffrey! It is even worth a special trip! He also has a boutique in Manhattan’s meat packing district in you live in NY or travel there often. Fortunately for me (and you, our readers, because I will pass on the scoop), Keith has my contact information and has promised to e-mail me pictures when he has shoes I might like! And, of course, they will ship, so if you like any of my selections, feel free to contact Keith Bryan at (404) 841-0215, and he will take care of you! Jeffrey is also having a large sale, so definitely check it out, if you’re in the area!
