Intermix claims these Alejandro Ingelmo platform boots are “truly killer!” I agree…only because you will probably kill yourself, or at the very least, break your ankle, when wearing them! These boots do have great potential. I love high heels, platforms, and the burgundy leather is perfect for fall, but unfortunately they just look way too much like stripper shoes for me. It’s too bad because usually I love Alejandro Ingelmo’s shoes.
I really love the form of Alejandro Ingelmo’s shoes. They are always edgy and just a little bit different from everything else out there. I love the slightly chunky feel to these shoes, and the contrast of the patent straps with the black leather is a nice touch. These pumps are really going to look good with anything, but I’d probably pair them with something a little unexpected like a suit, and they would really look great with gray tights so that the straps can really be seen.
I adore these!! I know what you're thinking, "another pair of patent leather pumps? come on Hilary!" but I can't help myself!!! These are fresh and funky and could fit easily into my (or your) wardrobe. What doesn't go with black patent leather anyway?
(P.S these are so Florence it's insane. The platform? The sexy factor? Yes, they have Flo written all over them. We are starting to rub off on each other!!)
