Absolutely Gorgeous. It's rare these days that a shoe can be so different and "out there" without being ugly, but I have to say these d'orsay pumps fit the bill. Pink and nude are beautiful together (who knew?) and I'm loving the thick tassels. I would do these with a floral fitted dress or even a really beautiful royal blue.

IÂ have loved these booties ever since I saw them on the runway, they look so sexy! I love the mixture of satin and leather.
Now these shoes have made their way from the runway to the stores. They look pretty good, however they have lost some of their height and their original mosaic. But maybe this way they will fit into your wardrobe more easily.

The Alessandro Dell’Acqua 2008 spring shoe collection is all about sandals. The heel remains high but we start to see little lower heels as well.
What I really liked in the collection was the array of colors and materials. Here are some of my favorites.

The fashion police always told us not to wear white shoes and white pants after Labor Day week end. I remember a scene from the movie Serial Mom IMDB, where the main character, played by Katheen Turner, gets very upset at a juror and kills the poor woman because she was wearing white shoes at her trial after Labor day!!!!
Well, luckily those old days are gone and with them the old fashion etiquette. Now, we can enjoy wearing white all year round.
There is nothing prettier than white shoes, but let's be cautious when choosing them. Too much of a neutral color, like white, can have the opposite effect on an overall look and ruin everything.
What a beautiful pair of ankle boots, they look so elegant and the mix of satin and leather is a very appealing blend of textures. The mosaic heel detail adds a very trendy touch to the boots.

These pumps are just so gorgeous, I am totally obsessed with them. I adore the clear platform. However, be aware that white suede shoes get dirty very fast and even if you protect them, they might require professional cleaning.

I like the concept of these white patent pumps, however, I haven't seen them on yet. The empty heel is kind of a new look. The thing that worries me is the old nurse look that comes with heavy white shoes.
