I’ve always loved pink, so I’m super happy to see so much of it for spring. I don’t know, but in the midst of the recession and gloomy days, it seems to brighten my day! And I like how it adds a touch of brightness to these very edgy Alexander McQueen shoe boots, especially the pink sole! This type of shoe is not always my style, but it’s very cool and very different from what I’m usually drawn to.

I would pair these shoes with something fun and youthful like leggings and a fun top, but you could also use them to spice up a LBD.

I have to admit that there are plenty of shoes out there that are more fabulous than these McQueen pumps, but truth is I don't know if it's their color or their flirty last, but something about these shoes makes me happy (and God knows the world needs happiness these days!).

The bright pink color is actually much easier to pair than one would think. Think grey, black, off-white, any flesh tone that's not yellow, even army green and browns.

The heart shaped peep-toe is a little wink at our dark moods, which can say "Hey girls! Stay positive. The best is yet to come!"

I am ecstatic and overwhelmed with joy at the presidential results. Although I swore I would never write about politics, I have to say something as this election holds so much hope for my children back home in South Central and for all the children of the world.

However, I still keep fashion in mind. As I reviewed the Spring shoe collections, I came across these totally fab McQueen jet crystal booties. They will look magnificent with any black outfit especially with pencil skirts and jersey dresses.

OK, I'm not holding myself to this, but I would give anything for these boots this fall. I mean, if these aren't sexy, I'm not sure what you define sexy as (buttons can be sexy!)  I can see these with opaque black tights and a cute sweater dress (bare legs if weather permits) or with some "old faithfuls" to give them a little kick. (I heart puns!)

I'm not that crazy about the shoes from Alexander McQueen show, but they're still fun to look at! We'll have to wait and see what actually comes out next year for purchase!

What I like about Alexander McQueen is that he can deliver a very classic collection and also come up with some crazy and fun shoes and handbags.

I love these boots (not that I would wear them around town on a daily basis, although with me you never know!). They remind me of the late 70s punk era, which is so dear to my heart. I would wear these boots while listening to the Sex Pistols with jeans and a simple t-shirt,  and, of course, a leather jacket. Or  perhaps I would wear them with a super classic dress or skirt. "God save the McQueen!"

When the perfect amount of femme meets the perfect touch of testosterone, my heart goes thump.  And of course this perfect pair is in the "it" color for fall (burnt red we shall call it.)  I would do these with a black trench with a white fitted blouse and a tweed high waisted pencil skirt... or jeans... but I like the first outfit better.

These Alexander McQueen ankle boots are amazing! I love the rich brown color, and the bow detail is very pretty. I also like the ruched leather on the front of the boot.Net-a-Porter pairs them with ¾-length skinny pants, which is a good choice because it allows the entire boot to be seen. They would also look good with a short skirt.
