Lately we have seen these boots in almost every magazine. Again, Nicholas Ghesquiere for Balenciaga has managed to deliver an unexpected and eccentric shoe collection for fall.
I like these rubber and leather boots, although they are not for everyone to wear. The rubber adds an airy and soft look to these super stylish shoes. I don't believe they will be that difficult to pair.

Repulsive: Tod's Carl Boots
I can tell you the following story just by looking at these boots. It was hot and dry outside, so the raccoon thought "ohhhh...maybe I can enter through this little opening and be able to spend a cool summer and eat and rest." Truth is, the raccoon ended up in Grandma's closet, and unfortunately these boots are the living proof that a raccoon should never feud with Grandma unless he wants to end up as a trophy on Grandma's shoes after she won the battle!

Not to jump too far ahead, but fall is exciting this year! Here, Balenciaga shows us their more industrial style, as opposed to their beloved "native" inspired style of this past season. I have to say I love them both!! This is futuristic and chic, and I like when designers take on different personalities like some sort of style chameleon. Bravo, Balenciaga (as if they needed to hear it!!)

I have to say I think we are putting the horse before the cart a bit by not taking the time to enjoy our Spring shoes. We are already wondering what fall will look like!!
Oh well! This week we are going to share with you some of the craziest styles from the runway.
Fall is going to be pointy according to Nicholas Ghesquiere's designs. These escarpins booties' pink patent leather mix with the mirrored leather reminds me a little of Andre Coureges's styles. Actually this should come as no surprise since Andre Coureges worked for Balenciaga.
Although these shoes might be a little over the top and not ready-to-wear, they are still very interesting to me. There is something almost futuristic about them. They would be killer with skinny pants and pencil skirts.

Balenciaga has recently open a magnificent store on Melrose Blvd in Los Angeles, so today after droping off my daughter to her friend's house, I decided to stop by the store and check it out.
Oh well big mistake on my hand, as soon as I got inside the store I knew I will get in trouble as I spotted this amazing pair of shoes, and of course couldn't resist.
Anyway thank god my husband liked it!!! They are magnificent, I love their shape ,and the patent leather lace bow details is incredibly refined.
The floral print seems busy at first but look stunning with jeans. I can't wait tomorrow to wear these shoes.

I must be feeling primal lately because I'm digging all of these really funky "ethinic" (hate using that term) shoes. These are typical Balenciaga, I will call it "tribal chic." I really would rock these, I'm not kidding, out in public, with a black little number.

Our spectacular And Extravagant list was based on designers that are the most influential in the fashion scene, the most creative and the most talented. Like it or not, their work will be remembered forever for being an inspiration to many.
Although we don't always agree with Nicholas Ghesquiere's designs, we love him (he's a true sweetheart). We like his edginess and the way he makes every woman feel like she's a sex symbol.
I went crazy over these shoes. I bought them and wore them once and my husband thought they were way too sexy!!!
But truth be told they were not the most comfortable shoes to wear, however I am still planing on wearing them someday simply with jeans.

Fall 2007 was a little weird, but interesting. I didn't care much for these strange mix of ski boots meet roller-skates. But you have to give it to him: these shoes are a work of art.

Ever since I saw these shoes I have been obsessed with them. I love their tie-dyed fabric and their gladiator style. Actually, I am as delighted as I am surprised that gladiator sandals look so hot in high heel form.
I would definitely love to wear these heels with dark denim jeans, black dresses... basically everything...

After the crazy hideous shoes we had to endure for fall ,Nicolas Ghesquiere has come up with this warrior sandal for Balenciaga Resort 2008. What looks like fur is actually flowing fake hair.Waoooooooh Brit is going to love these shoes.
Yes.....the kind you will see on celebrities head!!!!! Pretty weird! I don't know about you but I have heard that these shoes left every fashion editor long-ing for a pair.

OMG, I just flipped when I saw these "out of this world" boots at Satine boutique. Through the eyes of Nicolas Ghesquiere, this is what happens when cowboy boots meets hot fashion. My advice is to wear them simply, with a pair of skinny jeans and a T-Shirt, or try a white skirt and you will look just fabulous.
