Surprisingly this fall beside the gigantic back combed hairdo and the equally gigantic eye make up the collection is pretty "classic" even the shoes are stack-heeled and "supernormal".

i love the orange and black contrast, they'll look perfect in the fall with some grey wide leg pants or jeans..they remind me of a perfect autumn day in the city with the leaves all orange and red..NYC is beautiful in the fall
I can definitely relate with the perfect autumn day. Being from Michigan, taking a drive up north to witness nature turning a new leaf became a an annual event. I do like the bold, vivid colors Dior has for fall, very appropriate for the season.
OK guys im back! sorry for my long vacation from posting, i have been reading though but i've just been literally too tired when i've had time to post. I loved the Dior collection for Winter (Galliano really put his politics on his sleave now didn't he!?!) and the shoes were deffinitely good but i miss the old Galliano with his spectacular show stoppers which i'm sorry to say these aren't and they will undoubtedly be highly priced. In the current economic climate we're heading into luxe lovers really are looking for clothing that gives us plenty of bang for our $$$, and i'm not sure that these do.
I think that although the shoes are not the normal showstoppers Galliano does that the colors used on these shoes and the detailing bring them from ordinary to extraordinary and they are versatile which i think is sooo key when buying such an expensive shoe, too many times the shoes are beautiful works of art but how many times can you wear them?? This collection satisfies the Dior palate and provides a wearable collection without looking like you're trying too hard...in my humble opinion :)
you know what you are right, what is the point of spending your hard earned cash on a shoe for one outfit these are rather good and i've just noticed quite funky too. GO subtle GALLIANO!!!!

I think this (Fall Collection) is a great balance for Galliano in comparison with the Haute Coutore collection, Galliano avid admirers always want to wear the latest shoes by Galliano, but you know not alot would wear the high platform shoes that he first showed this year.
