Dior "Arabesque" Platform

As graceful and classic as their ballet derived name but as modern and stylish as anything else we see today, these shoes look straight from the art deco movement.  The front platform gives a little extra height and also make these a little edgier than the normal strappy sandal.  They are neutrals ladies, so you can pair them with any color, but because they are very much evening shoes (in my humble opinion) I would do them with an emerald color dress (if you can pull off, which I can and I do HA!) or even a burnt orange. And of course there's always black.

(ok... i have to admit, the only downfall to this shoe is the "D" hanging right smack in the middle. tacky and tasteless. Dior is so guilty of this...)

I have to agree on the hanging 'D' to much, if it's my shoe, i'll take it off and use it as a pendant or earring he he..

these are really great shoes until you get to that tacky D I hate it when designers cover there products in labels and Dior is one who particularly likes to do it on non-runway items. whoever was the designer of these (i doubt it was Galliano) gets lots of points for the colour and style, but loses all of them with that D, you didn't invent the alphabet!
