Have you ever loved a pair of shoes so much, that when they were worn out you wished you had bought the same style in every color and material possible?
This should not be an issue when it comes to Christian Louboutin's shoe collection. They usually come in a wide range of materials and colors, like these Armadillo pumps that we have seen in black leather, pewter, red satin and now in blue satin.
Christian Louboutin Armadillo Striped Satin D'orsay $790 Neiman Marcus

if you could marry a shoe, i think that i might want to buy this one a ring.
I am already in the kitchen baking the wedding cake!! Lol I understand your feeling, I am the same way.

Those are really nice. I imagine they'll be copies made, it's easy to duplicate.
Unfortunately I am pretty sure that some Chinese factory has already came up with a knock off, but the true fashionistas won't be fooled.

I had a pair of shoes inspired by the artist Mondrian, that were a knock off of YSL that my Mum gave me. Because of the easy pattern, it was so close to the orginal that the knock off looked amazing. With the type of colours we have today (more colours exist today than there were in the sixties) and the easy fabric Louboutin has chosen not to mention construction is relatively easy, if they are knocked off the only way to tell them apart will be the signature red sole of Louboutin.
Oh well, there is some shoe archives from designers like Roger Vivier, Andre Perugia that have been the source of inspiration for all shoe designers, there is an Andre Perugia museum in Roman France.
I know shoe designer buy vintage shoes or even sometimes they buy on ebay (I know it sounds crazy!!).
When I was a kid back in France the top shoe designers were Francois Villon, Maud Frizon , Andrea Pfizer, name that have completely disapeared .
So your shoes might be vintage not knock off and probably inspired Louboutin.

Ah, le sigh.
Unbelievable! Sheer elegance, what more can I say other than I want these shoes!
I understand you Gerri, when shoes are true passion it's difficult to resiste.

Don't mention "knock-offs" to me. I know for a fact that you can dance all night long in Palm Beach then "window" shop on Worth Avenue afterwards in your Christian Louboutin. Try knocking that off! By the way...can't do that in Blanaks either.
I adore these shoes! I love them in red, but the mix of blue satin is just breathtaking!
