Christian Louboutin Sculpted Shoe

By now, I’m sure all of you know I’m addicted to my loubies. Even with my obsession probably causing me to look at all his shoes through rose-colored glasses,  I just do not like these sculpted shoes…not one little thing about them. They would look like clown shoes on my feet. I must disclose that I do wear a size 11, but for any size foot, the shape and the lower heel (Isn’t it crazy that I now consider 3-inch heels low??!!), really make the shoe look gigantic in a disproportionate way. I’m sure some would consider this shoe edgy, but to me it just looks like a weird version of an 80s pump.

tyler, my daughter wears an 11.5. i feel your pain!!! i hate that shoe, but i did buy the no prive slingback at footcandy with the 3.5" heel. it's very nice, good for emergencies when you need to appear demure and still feel like you can pull out the panther. you would like it.

Yes, it is definitely a challenge to have large feet, but it does seem like more and more designers are expanding their sizes. I do like the no prive style. I also have some simple closed-toe slingbacks from him, I love dearly, in black patent! I bought the minibouts and I don't know how anyone can wear those! They are so narrow, even in the correct size!!

I have to say, I think it would look like one fat foot. I would have to see them on, but that's my feeling just by looking at them. =(

Hi Tyler! I was just at Neiman Marcus today and was baffled by these... they looked so out of place amongst the pretties! The display was my size -- 6 -- and even that small and from every angle I held them at they looked huge and almost orthopedic. They brought to mind a scenario of a really bad 80's shoe choice that perhaps Princess Di would have made when she was still in school teacher mode to try and look "classy" and royal yet comfortable. Ugh. Louboutins should never look clumsy... save that for Easy Spirit. OMG thats what they remind me of, remember "Looks like a pump, feels like a sneaker" with the basketball playing nuns?!

Hi Suzanne!

LOL. You crack me up! I totally agree though! They just don't go with his other sexy designs!

xoxo,
Tyler
