 Christian Louboutin was probably inspired by the French Moyen Age (medieval period) and by Jeanne D'arc when he designed this Donjon boot.
I like the style however I am not crazy about the gold studs, there are too many! I would have liked these boots just plain, but they would look good with skinny pants, leggings or mini dresses. Actually I would pair them with anything grey. But keep in mind: because these boots make a statement by themselves they can only be paired with a very simple outfit. The price tag is painful....
