I know spring is very much retro inspired, but I'm having a difficult time comprehending the meaning of these shoes!
Well, yes they are retro for sure, but I really don't like the pointy upper -- and the foiled rosette seems completely out of place.
I have a hard time picturing what kind of outfit can be paired with these shoes... unless we are planning to wear one of the Hillary Clinton's White House era suits.

lol, all louboutin's look good from the back. I think i know what's wrong with these though. the heel is far too spindly whilst it looks like theres a small concealed platform in there and the actual cut of the shoe on the lower end (im not sure what the technical term is for the opening) is to thin and needs to be widened.
Yes you might be right also these shoes's style is weird and so unexpected I think.

you guys are crazy! these are lovely, almost victorian. i can't wait to get them! i love strange shoes.
I usually love crazy and edgy shoes, but for some reasons these remind me of my grandma , but taste is very personal so what works for certain people might not work for others and this is the beauty of fashion, everyone can find what they like.

i dont really think these are crazy or edgy, they're just old fashioned, which is why it reminds you of your grandma's shoes. :) and i do love anything old fashioned/victorian. getting a version from louboutin is better than wearing my grandma's actual shoes.
i could see these worn with a creamy miu miu baby doll mini dress.
I also just got the miu miu floral carved heel shoes and they are AMAZING in person. I'm going to wear them tonight for dinner.
