Actually I don't know if I like these shoes or if I don't. They surely are sexy and the punched patent is kind of new; I love the last and the heel, but the price tag bothers me.
These shoes are as expensive as a pair of couture shoes, but I wonder  if the quality stands up to this kind of ticket.
I went on with my little investigation to learn more about this brand and its designer Ruthie Davis, but actually the little bio doesn't tell more than the basics about the designer and that she is a footwear expert.
What I don't like about these shoes beside their price is they have a plastic look to them. They will look great with any kind of skinny pants, mini dresses and skirt and opaque tights of course.
I have never got a pair of shoes from this designer, but I would like to hear about your personal experience. I am going to turn to Hilary as well since she is a huge shoe fan and much younger than I am ( she went to college with my son Ben!) I know... time goes by pretty fast.

this is one of my favorite shoes in the new Davis by Ruthie Davis collection. love the neo-80's look...and it's actually made of beautiful patent leather (it's not "plastic-y" looking!). i'm a friend of ruthie davis and I know the quality of her shoes are amazing...they're all made with the best materials at a top notch factory in Italy, so it's definitely worth the price. other designers charge a lot more for not-as-great quality.

Thank you for the info, it is always interessting to learn about a designer, and I am glad to hear that her quality is top notch, maybe the plasticy look is due to the flash in the picture, patent leather doesn't always translate properly in picture.

I LOVE THE BOOT IT IS REALLY COMFORTABLE AND IT DOESN'T LOOK CHEAP AT ALL, I ACTUALLY WORK AT STILETTO IN PHILADELPHIA AND WE HAVE BEEN DOING REALLY WELL WITH HER THINGS WE ACTUALLY JUST HAD A TRUNK SHOE WERE SHE SIGNED A CUSTOMERS SHOE I THOUGHT THAT WAS COOL. I cannot agree more with you, actually I had the chance to meet Ruthie and see her fall collection at the WSA show, you are right she rock, and her shoes are top notch quality and the creativity is just fantastic.
