These are so delicate and lovely. They are actually really understated for D&G who usually produces pretty over the top designs. Because they're metallic, the options are limitless. I can see them fitting into my wardrobe quite nicely :-) maybe with my this new taupe colored dress I bought from Madison.

There is something beautiful and delicate about these caged toe pumps... not to mention they are pink! with gold piping to boot. I don't know where I would wear these exactly (or if I would wear them at all because although I admire them, they are not really my style) they are very pretty shoes.

Um... these are extreme... extremely ugly at that. Taking the gladiator a step too far. Yes, its a hot trend, but it needs to be attractive. These are straight from the Coliseum and I don't think they translate well to the streets... of anywhere!! Yikes.
D&G Leather Tall Calf Sandal $820.00
These shoes are like an impressionist painting: from far away, the shapes and colors make up a beautiful scene, but from close up, they are just a bunch of gobs and brush strokes. Â Artistically speaking, there is something really beautiful about these shoes. I'm not sure if I would run out to the store and buy them, but who knows, with the right outfit one may be able to pull them off. I'd love to see someone try at least!!

This spring wedges are still very much in style, I like them because you can wear very high ones without feeling uncomfortable. They usually make your legs look longer and thinner, but beware you need to find the perfect wedges otherwise they can easily look like my grandma's shoes. Here are some of my favorites:

Dolce Gabbana floral canvas wedges: I don't know if I like these wedges or not, the printed canvas is refreshing and very springy, but I don't like the upper buckle it make the shoes a little too busy. They remind me of Kenzo's fabrics in the 80's Dolce Gabbana

Dolce gabbana crocodile pump,These pumps are great, my regret a lack of originality on the design, but at least they will never go out of style.
Versace graphic heel patent leather pump with contrasting platform.
They definitly are different, I am not crazy of the black and white together, but the platform is fun and the upper interesting.
