These shoes are like an impressionist painting: from far away, the shapes and colors make up a beautiful scene, but from close up, they are just a bunch of gobs and brush strokes. Â Artistically speaking, there is something really beautiful about these shoes. I'm not sure if I would run out to the store and buy them, but who knows, with the right outfit one may be able to pull them off. I'd love to see someone try at least!!

I can just imagine the art crowd going mad for the shoes (well really anything) from this collection. I can see these with the Shoe Goddesses favourite skinny jeans and plain white T (after all I'm a great subscriber to the belief that the shoe can often make the outfit), or even one of Donna Karren's Shirtwaisters (depending on the colour of course).
Well you never know which way fashion will go?, I am not a big fan of these shoes ( truth is I am not a big fan of D&G period). But the floral print doesn't suit shoes well,.

yep these are deffinitely difficult shoes to pull off, and floral prints rarely do suit shoes but i reckon this is more of an abstract expressionist print then a floral print. Plus how many people will be looking up close to the shoes?
Me thinks these shoes would be a must have for Nune and Nuune (those crazy cat artsty-fartsy characters from Saturday Night Live). Someone in Amsterdam might sport these running through the tulip patches.
I agree aren't these shoes absolutely awful?? I love your comment so true and funny.
Thank you.
