When I first saw these shoes, I thought "oh well...another cut-out bootie," but the more I see them, the more I like them. I love the sexy feel and the elegance of these shoes. They are going to look fabulous with bubble and pencil skirts. I think they are a must-have for fall!

Cut-out shoes seem to be a fall must! I usually don't care much for Givenchy shoes (besides the fabulous gladiators that we have seen everywhere!), but I have to admit that these shoes are just beautiful! I like their sleek look and their color. And the stiching detail adds a lot of elegance to these timeless shoes.
I would pair them with a structured dress or just my favorite pair of jeans.

This summer due to our busy schedule, and for the first time since I have moved to the United States, I haven't been able to make my annual trip to France, my birth place .
Although the endeavor that keeps me in Los Angeles is my life-time commitment toward education for the children of Los Angeles, and to push a ballot that might change the face of our city, I still miss Paris.

I know what you're thinking, 'another gladiator??' well yes ma'am... because when you are as fabulous as Givenchy you can stand out from the crowd of trendy shoes. I love these, they are primal yet sophisticated and the gold color makes them pop. I would do these for evening with a bright color or black.
Givenchy Gladiator Shoe Boot $995.00- Barneys
The color, the clean lines; this shoe screams wear me! I like the covered heel as well. It really adds some oomph to an already incredible design. And nothing speaks to me quite like a nude heel: they go with everything, they are sexy and they are a wonderful alternative to black which can become monotonous. Like I said, I'd pair these with anything; a dress, black skinny jeans a skirt, you name it, baby.

I am usually not a Givenchy shoe lover and since I have been traumatized by the worst plastic shoe trend in the planet (crocs) of course, I have a weird relationship with the material shoes ( I believe plastic to be an unealthy material when it comes to shoes).
But I have to admitt that these Givenchy "jelly"gladiator are extremely cute (maybe because of the pink color).
Their price tag is really good for a designer shoes, and they will look adorable with baby doll dresses, mini shorts and anything denim.
Hopefully the plastic material will let our footsies breathe properly during the hot summer day.

When it came to the shoe collection, Ricardo Tisci for Givenchy has proved that he was able to go from beautiful to ugly in the blink of an eye.
So here is what we have to say to Ricardo: Â Although you have not been as bad as Marc and we know you have a lot of potential, we recommend that you improve a little, because we would like to see better designs more consistently in the future.
Remember these Givenchy "open toe sandals" weren't they scary?
and what about these magician d'Oz inspired glittery pumps?
Talk about weird shoes, I have another good one to show you, yes .... this is real!! These are very scary shoes and you wouldn't want to spook your family by bringing these boots into your home.
I don't blame you. Unless you are about to join a freak show or a sado-maso cult, these boots are to be avoided......
Givenchy "pony hair strappy stilleto" boots
As we get closer to the holiday season glittery shoes are making their royal entrance, but let's be careful: all that glitters is not beautiful. It can actually be pretty tacky, so here are some of the best and the worst glittery shoes.
The best: Christian Louboutin glitter peep-toe platform sling back $690.00 Barneys

The funky: Givenchy glitter pump $535.00 at Barneys

The tacky: Giuseppe Zanotti pony hair and glitter cow boy boots $513.00 Zappos couture Even if the price tag had been reduced by half you still wouldn't want to be caught wearing these boots, ehhhh actually maybe for Halloween .
