To be perfectly honest, I usually don’t like Gucci shoes (or handbags, for that matter!), but these Corset sandals are HOT. They remind me of the sexy woman I’d like to be. Let’s face it, when you have young children, sexiness can fall to the wayside. But when you put on shoes like this ... arrivederci frumpiness! I love the side lace-up detail, as well as the skinny stiletto heel. I would wear these with a sleek cocktail dress or even jeans with a nice top, like this Robert Rodriguez Silk Petal Top. I like the idea of combining the sleek shoes with lots of ruffles and softness in the top. They would also add a bit of an edge to a simple pencil skirt and blouse.
I think this is a brilliant idea, but I'd want to try them on before buying, because I'm concerned that the straight cut in the front will have the same effect as an ankle strap - shortened legs. :(
