These are insane!!! I love them! If it weren't for their crazy outrageous price tag, I'd be donning them right now. They really remind me of Balenciaga last season. I don't know where I'd wear them to be honest, but I don't care. I just bought this Betsey Johnson number (it's a a little black halter-jumper) that would be perfect for these. Anyone want to buy Hilary a gift?

There's something about this Scottish style that just screams fall to me. Obviously a lot of designers felt the same way this season. Maybe it's the warm colors and thick fabrics. Though plaid can easily go sour, these designs are anything but. Here are some examples (from the expensive to the affordable) of what we are seeing this season.
Jean Paul Gaultier (along with John Galliano) is for me one of the most creative and talented fashion designers of all time. What I like about Jean Paul is that he never takes himself seriously. He always has a wonderful smile on his face that seems to say, "I am having so much fun merci"
His spring collection seems to take us from one shore to the next; an african safari with vibrant prints then back to one of Gaultier's favorites, the marine/resort style. But this time its not in its usual off white and navy blue cotton rather in sequins and beads.
