When I saw these shoes, I thought "Wow!!! They are fabulous!" I love the color, and the snakeskin comes together beautifully. I wish the zipper was silver instead of gold, but the platform is perfect. I can totally picture these shoes with opaque tights or even on bare, golden skin.
But definately the zipper bothers me. It gives a cheap feel to these magnificent sandals (especially with this kind of price tag). So yay or nay? Hard to tell--I will have to try them on!

I completely agree. I love EVERYTHING about these shoes, but that stupid zipper! Sigh. Such a waste of a gorgeous shoe!

I know I saw these this morning from Manolo and thought why was he recommending them. Jimmy Choo's always seem to err on the side of classless somehow i mean even the colour of the zipper if it was a neutral silver would just improve the shoe drastically.

i'm going to give these the benefit of the doubt. when i zoomed in on the saks web i saw how green they are, so maybe the zipper will work. i'm wearing more gold than silver now, (ghetto gold of course).
