I don't know about the boots but I kind of like the pumps, although they are not the every day shoes, they are funky and sexy...

What do I always say about mixing different shoe styles in one shoe? FRANKENSTEIN!!  And these are no exception. Let's see here... I can sort from this mess a wedge, a sandal and a penny loafer. That's just wrong.  What in the world made LV's designers think that was ok? And don't think slapping some patent leather on those puppies is going to cover up the hideousness either... (ps look how friggin' expensive they are? I'd rather fly to london thank you very much...)

I haven't been a fan of Vuitton in a while and this fall was no exception.  These wedges are no gem, but they definitely caught my eye enough to make me take a peak at the Summer 2008 collection LV is offering up.  There are certain aspects of the shoe that are intriguing: the wooden wedge is very cool, especially with the stripe detail.  But what do you think about the buttons?  Too much or just right?

I have to admit even as I'm writing, they are growing on me.  But beware, these shoes require a) a brave girl  b) the right outfit and c) walking lessons because those things are sky high.

PS: Using alligator is so unnecessary, you can't even see the detail, what was the point?
PPS if I were going to drop $3000 dollars on a pair of sandals, I would make damn well sure they were at least attractive...or have some super power.... or double as some sort of high tech gadget...

There is not a better symbol of luxury than a crocodile bag or pair of shoes. Well, I am not a specialist in bags, I leave that to my dear friend Tina, the bagsnob Bagsnob. But, I can tell you a lot about shoes.

Crocodile shoes have always represented elegance. However, I always wondered what was the difference between alligator skin and crocodile? Alligator skin versus crocodile.  In general, American alligator skin is much better quality, with more symmetrical scale patterns, thicker and softer skin, and has a smoother and more three-dimensional feel than the typical "crocodile" skin.

I totally adore Ralph Lauren crocodile boots. The platform and the heel are out of this world and the color is so warm and chic.

Actually, these boots look really good and they are not real crocodile skin. They are embossed patent leather and will be much cheaper.

Glam to the toe!! I love these shoes they are a reminder of Holywood ,at the time of it's splendor,I picture Jean Harlow or Ava Garner wearing those fabulous shoes.

Chanel crystal wedges. They look out of this world, I have to agree but when they are on the foot they look fabulous,specialy with skinny pants.

Surprisingly awful these Christian Dior booties are more suitable for crusaders than for women,I find them unsuitable and so not sexy.They are also so busy the mesh the suede an then the grommet,needless to mention the weird toe and heel.They are way to much for a pair of shoes.

And what about those super sexy boots,Gucci silver leather horse bit buckle bootie,I can't wait to get a pair of these fantastic bootie,they are so 70's.

Louis Vuitton has made three metallic shoes super original, I love the funny heel,and the very light upper straps,these shoes seems coming out of a fairy tale.

More Salavator Dali than shoes these Louis Vuitton Viviane Sandals,are just beautiful,I love the heel and the skinny strap,and the very elegant rhinestone side buckle.

Gucci gold leather black suede ankle strap,these shoes are far from being my favorites,but the Gucci faithfull lovers may like them.I don't like the mix of gold and black together it is to strong, and I don't like the perforated details,it give the shoes a weird sporty look.But the line is really beautiful ,I love the heel and the platform. www.gucci.com

I love these Gucci shoes,altough Iam not usully a big fan of ankle strap(unless you have skinny legs),but these shoes have a very clean line,and the hardware are not to big,the upper details are chic ,the platform is really well proportioned with the heel.

This is a fabulous pump ,the line is so perfect,although,it's obvious they won't be wearable due to the 10 inch heel,the gold is to yellow for me but they are worth a look.

Classic Pierre Hardy silver pump,they are pretty although the upper is little to long,it gives the shoes a older look.I like the color,it is a very nice mirror silver

Super fun Pierre Hardy silver and white platform,it is a very hip shoe teen agers girls love them,they will look nice with mini dresses or even short.

My advice beware over 40 years old wear them only with Jeans.

It seems to me that Sergio Rossi have lost the momentum a while ago,but the hiring Edmundo Castillo to design the new collection hopefully will be a good move to relaunch the brand.For now I really don't like these very heavy shoes.
