I am so excited! This year, Hilary and I will be attending Fashion Week in NYC!! We also have a lot of meetings with designers to preview their Spring '09 shoe collections, and we will be attending a whole bunch of parties. So my problem is what to pack and what to wear.
Although I am pretty well stocked when it comes to shoes, believe it or not, I never bring the ones I need. So I always end up buying more!
I have already set my eyes on these absolutely gorgeous Marni metallic pumps. I bought a similar pair in a metallic purple color, and they are so chic, yet still sexy. I wonder how long I will be able to resist these!
I love the red metallic color--so hot! I can totally picture them with a cute flirty brown dress, or with black, or....basically everything! Ughhhh ... should I? Should I not ? What a cruel dilemma!

I don't like this sort of peep toe... It seems like it's cut so air can get in and make my toes cold but no one can see my pedicure! This cut is a little pointless imo.
True but those are fall shoes so they can be worn with opaque tights does these shoes make more sense to you?

I really love how marni is using alot of wood this season, it makes for such a fun contrast. the colors are great also. i saw a pair of ankle peep-toe booties in black leather with wood heel and platform and fell in love with them. they're so versatile bec you can wear them in autumn/winter with the right pair of tights and then in spring bec you'll still get air to your footsies. you'll get twice as much wear for the price :)
I agree, also wooden heel add an earthy look to the shoes, and if you drive the heel won't get damaged by the pedals, the downside of the woodis the shoe look a little more casual , but to me they also have a younger feel to them.

I've simply fallen in love with Marni every time i see one of their wooden platformed shoes. They sure know how to platform a shoe and still make it look fantastic. oh and the peep-toe is great imho, with tights (hell even socks!) of multiple colours it just adds to the versatility like a constantly changing coloured square on the end of the toe.
