These flat are not only chic, but they are eco friendly, as well. The Brazilian brand Melissa uses melflex recycleble plastic to make these shoes, and the bow is removable according to our mood. What else to make a girl happy?

I couldn't decide if these shoes would make it to the repulsive category, but after giving it a second thought, I have to admit that I find them hideous! I don't know if it is because they shine so much or because they are so pointy that they almost almost hurt my eyes? But I seriously find them absolutely repulsive.

You may recognize these from one of our shoegoddess NY Fashion Week videos. Florence found them at Saks 10022. Aren't they amazing? Miu Miu defnitely created a dream shoe, very fitting for a shoegoddess if you ask me.  I'd pair them with a simple black dress as to allow the shoes to speak for themselves.

Miu Miu Pumps Saks Fifth Avenue Stores

After a long long long journey (our flight was delayed five hours thanks to Hurricane Hanna) we finally made it to the big apple at 2 am.

Nevertheless, we were up and wired on black coffee, ready to take on the city. First stop, Saks Fifth Avenue's shoe departement with its own zip code .

Saks is celebrating  the 70th anniversary of the Wizard of OZ by displaying a collection of ruby slippers by many different designers.

Although the shoe departement is famed to be one of a kind, we were not totally impressed by the shoe selection.  When you have almost every shoe at the click of a mouse, it's hard to be impressed by a store. However, we managed to buy some shoes.

These are cute, no?  The one problem I could foresee is cutting off my legs at the ankle... in a flat no less!! It's bad enough cutting off the line of the leg in say, a platform. But to do it in a flat makes for more trouble if you're petite.  But, they do look comfy, love the color; all in all I'd love to see them on a nice tall leggy girl.

Once upon a time, I came across a fabulous pair of shoes, and I felt like a princess...oh well... if I buy these Miu Miu sandals, I might get served with divorce papers!!!

Anyway, these sandals are totally beautiful. I love the color and their simple feel. The sophistication comes from the jeweled heel. You can wear these shoes with a fabulous evening dress, or simply with pants that will cover the heel and dress the shoe down.

 Flowers, flowers everywhere for Prada and Miu Miu.  You'd think it was still Spring... but nope. These black beauties are part of the Fall collection.  I like 'em, not love though.  They are  little clunky/futuritstic for my taste.  But if you are going to rock these, make sure to keep it simple: a solid colored dress or jeans.

 These are alright, honestly not that exciting.  And for me personally, the T-strap cuts off the long line of the leg (and believe me, I'm only five foot six, I don't need any leg chopping!!)  But if these tickle your fancy, I'd wear them for evening with really anything... cocktail dresses, dress slacks etc...

(note: I do like the price tag on these, however... so if you're looking for a black T-strap sandal, I'd go with this one.)

 If these don't say "Miuccia Prada" in a loud clear voice, then I don't know what does.  Flowers have been a common theme for both Prada and Miu Miu these past few seasons. I like how the detail is muted here, as not to scream "flowers!!"  I would pair these with something simple because the sequins really speak for themselves; a black cocktail dress... or maybe something in cobalt or navy (I love brown and blue together.)

The new elegance resides in simplicity of design and quality of materials. Unfortunately, these Miu Miu shoes do not fit that standard!

They are too busy, and it seems that the designer has not recovered from his last LASD trip! I think these shoes are absolutely hideous. Maybe some super chic girl will be able to pull them off, and we will all say "hey...not too bad afterall!"

I am in love! I am in love!! Since I first saw these shoes, I was completely obsessed! They are just what a girl needs for fall!

I love the red hot suede, and the elasticized strap that reveals the top of the foot in a very sexy way.

These shoes will look magnificent with gray, brown or black. I think I am going to get them right away!
