Prada has totally gone purple!  Tyler and I have dreamed of the day when purple footwear would rule the catwalks (we both have a huge crush on purple) little did we know it would be executed so expertly! These are gorgeous; they look very comfortable and suede makes any color that much more delicious.  I would rock these with a navy or grey dress (maybe a sweater dress for Fall.)

So chic and elegant, of course they are none other than Prada.  The possibilities are endless for a black and taupe shoe; dresses, slacks, skinny jeans, leggings, you name it.  Very Audrey Hepburn if you ask me.

Ok these are to die for. Purple, check. Suede, check. Amazing, check. I love the upper ruching detail, and the two-toned purple adds a little dimension. I would do these with a sexy black number or a fun oversized tee/sweater dress ... depending on the weather.

This week I have to agree with my fellow bloggers at Splendora! These Prada pumps are fabulous!

And it is true that they have a very sweet feel to them, almost like the top of a cup cake--probably because of the ruffle. However, it is more the design of rest of the shoe that I like. They have a retro feel (very 1940s) and will look fabulous paired with a belted jacket over a pencil skirt.

I wish.... OMG ... I just bought them! Someone is going to be in trouble when the Amex bill arrives! Oh well--we only live once, right!!??

When I first saw these boots, I was not sure what to think! But they have a cute Victorian feel that reminds me of something a saloon girl would wear during the cowboy era.

They will look cute with a bubble skirt or dresses and opaque stockings, but they will also look fabulous with skinny pants or leggings and a mini skirt.

Ah, poor Prada is about to get a tongue lashing.  I can't do the animal print on the feet. It's one thing to be snakeskin, its quite another to look like a cartoon version of a snow leopard.  And the exaggerated heel looks awkward to me, like an afterthought "let's glue a plastic heel on after we're done." Yick. Guess I'll save my $750 for a more worthy pair.

Actually, I have a difficult time making up my mind when it comes to these boots...do I like them or not?

The ruffled heel is kind of funky, but has a fish-tail look that I don't like. So my advice: only wear these boots with a very plain and simple outfit!

I talked about how purple is a huge trend for fall on Tuesday. The Stuart Weitzman pumps I showed you were fun and funky. These sandals are a great example of a subtle, elegant version of purple. They are just so pretty and delicate. I love the metallic leather. They would be gorgeous for a night out or even a luncheon. Obviously they would look great with black, but I’d pair them with cream as well. And they work for any season. You can start wearing them now, and into the fall and winter.

The duel color pallet here is so chic. I also love the little peep of skin in the upper--very sexy! The grey and black are staple colors for fall (obviously) as is suede.  I would rock these with black skinny jeans with zips or snaps at the ankle (very punk) and a white tee or dress it up with... what else? a dress.

This shoe reminds me of a T-strap that Christian Louboutin Made for Fall '08.... but to be honest... I'm not crazy about these.  Sometimes, I swear, Prada gets away with murder; they make an ugly shoe or collection and recover from it as if it never happened... because, afterall, they are Prada.  I think these look 'old lady' and that color is boring, as if to say 'we need a dark boring red in the line to signify the changing of the seasons.' Blech. I know, I know... "tell us how you really feel, Hilary."
