Ah Chicago, my home town. It may not be the fashion capital of the world, but it's got soul. Last weekend, I packed my bags (full of shoes obviously) and boarded a plane back to the Windy City for Mother's Day and some partying with old friends.
(Sidenote: while going through security, some of the TSA workers thought it would be funny to tell me that there is a new FAA regulation of no more than 5 pairs of shoes per passenger! HA! Good thing I wasn't running late! I digress...)
FRIDAY NIGHT was my dear friend, Liz's birthday. We had dinner at Sushi Samba (could we be any more Sex and the City?) then headed out to a club downtown called, Underground. SO much fun, and THIS is what I wore:

SATURDAY NIGHT a bunch of us got together and went out to this club in Wicker Park called, Debonair (I would compare Wicker Park to Silverlake in LA, so kind of off the beaten path.) It was a great night, and yes, another great pair of shoes. I wore them with a Theory long-sleeve beige t-shirt and a black leather bomber.

SUNDAY (Mother's Day) I had to end my glorious weekend the right way: I wore sweatpants and flip flops, hung out with my family and watched the Cubs game :-) A girl has to rest her feet at some point!!!
