Always inspired by equestrian themes, Ralph Lauren brings us these leather boots for Fall. They are classic with a modern twist; they are chic and have a really nice shape to them. I have to say, I dig 'em. I would definitely do these with riding pants or skinny jeans tucked in.

Nope not based on an equestrian theme, unless you're talking about steel horses ;) These are a near exact copy of the classic "engineer" or motorcycle boot. The only difference being that these are taller (they look to be about knee height and the classics are maybe mid-shin) and skinnier (around the calf, the classics are a bit clunky-wide) than the classic style.
