A few days ago, I received the Rene Caovilla fall line sheet. As soon as I saw these fabulous shoes, it was love at first sight!
These shoes are so sexy and chic. I love the fact that they are made in two pieces and can be worn separately. The downside, however, is their extremely high price tag.
I would wear them with a black satin bubble skirt and a fitted white shirt .

Who hasn't ever dreamed of wearing a pair of Rene Caovilla shoes? No one...that's what I thought! Well to celebrate the TheShoeGoddess redesign, the Rene Caovilla Beverly Hills Boutique is giving away a pair of stunning flat sandals from its spring/summer collection for a retail value of $675. These satin, leather and pearl sandals are just exquisite, so when I received a phone call from Iya Ritchie (the fantastic Rene Caovilla Beverly Hills store manager) to tell me that they had heard about TheShoeGoddess redesign and wanted to participate, I went running to the store with Hilary (after, of course, we got off the phone with Tyler!)

The Cannes film festival is in full swing, and every day we get pictures of fabulous people claiming "les marches."
To tell you the truth, I haven't written anything about it because I haven't seen anything interesting enough to talk about. Yes, yes ... there are a whole bunch of celebrities there, but none of them have caught my fashion attention.
However, in the event that the Festival planners decide that they can't live without adding a Shoe Goddess to their V.I.P list next year and invite me to come, I have already found the perfect shoes!!!
When it comes to dressy shoes, we become like kids in a candy store. Drawn to them like a magnet, we want them all! They shine, they sparkle, and they are true jewels to our feet. Aren't evening shoes supposed to last forever? We often tell ourselves, “If I get these, I will never buy another pair…â€
But truth is we all probably have a collection of evening shoes. To be honest, what we are lacking is the occasion to wear them. We are not necessarily invited to the fabulous parties illustrated and flaunted before us on the glossy pages of our favorite magazines. We are also not jetting around like celebs either. Instead of walking down the red carpet, the next huge, fabulous event we are attending is "The Smith "backyard Fourth of July barbecue in Springfield. But, secretly we are all dying to wear the fabulous jeweled shoes that every celebrity is wearing.
Here are some of my picks of shoes that can easily be worn with a pair jeans. However, remeber that some shoes have to keep a very high profile and jeans are probably not your best choice.
What about these fantastic Sergio Rossi sandals? Aren't they stunning? My friend Tina, the bagsnob, has had a reoccurring dream of getting her hand on a pair. I agree the platforms are quite dreamy.

These Chanel super sized jeweled pumps won't go unnoticed. Maybe these should just stay on the runway. But guess who was wearing a sling back version of these Chanel shoes? Lindsay (A.K.A dui drama queen/coke head) Lohan was wearing them at the Chanel resort 2008 fashion show. Trust me, they look better on. Maybe poor Lindsay had the huge jeweled buckle stuck under the brake of her car so she couldn't stop on time? Ok, just kidding…

These Gucci platform sandals are a little heavy for an evening dress. However, the good news is you can dance the whole night thanks to the platform that adds comfort.
I also loved these Miu Miu pumps. I find the balance between the light strappy upper and the heavier jeweled cone heel very appealing. This pump will complete a more casual outfit.

These are the kind of shoes that you buy and never wear. They might be a master piece, but who can walk in them? Not many of us!
Christian Louboutin satin- crepe pumps with bow detail.
These Miu Miu satin shoes are really funky, but beware it is a very fine line between making a statement and looking like a drag queen. My advice, don't cross it. If you decide on these shoes, make sure to wear them with a very simple outfit.

I love these sophisticated and elegant pumps. The upper is jeweled just enough to look dressy, but the overall look of the shoe allows you to wear them out to the movies too.

We can not talk about jeweled shoes without mentioning Rene Caovilla and Giuseppe Zanotti. These two creative designers will always be masters when it comes to jeweled shoes.
Although these shoes are works of art, we must remain practical. How many times are we going to wear them? Listen to the Shoe Goddess when she tells you, you’d probably never wear them.

These Rene Caovilla sandals belong to my personal collection. They were called The Snake. They are magnificent and the rhinestones are AB color so they project the perfect glow.
These shoes are also part of my personal collection, they are just exquisite. The flower embellishment with the satin and the charms makes them truly unique. Although they are eye-catching, listen to me when I tell you that they are unwearable. It’s not worth the pain! I have tried to wear them once for an event and it was a disaster. Unfortunately after wearing them, my feet looked like sausages, all swollen and painful.

These Rene Caovilla shoes also belong to me. I call them my oriental’s. They remind me of India’s jewels that we see in the Bollywood movies and they are actually relatively comfortable.
As we know, Christian Louboutin is always classic and chic. These very sophisticated "Lady" embellished sandals will remain your party buddy for a while. They are completely timeless. Net a porter
