Rock & Republic Monique Platform Sandal

I’ve been loving the Rock & Republic styles I’ve seen in fashion magazines and online lately. These Monique platform sandals are undeniably sexy, and the price is great. I think the mix of suede and patent leather is so visually interesting, and I always like shoes that crisscross at the vamp. Plus the color is gorgeous. I love these rich, vibrant colors for fall.

You can easily wear these sandals with jeans or even tights and skirts and dresses.

And as an aside and fashion note, I know we always mention tights lately, and although a short time ago, tights with open-toed shoes were a travesty, for whatever reason the fashion world has decided it’s in, so we’re going with it! However that DOES NOT mean flesh-colored hose with evening sandals is! I shudder at the mere thought! Anyway, so don't be afraid to rock any of your summer sandals with tights. Also feel free to have fun with your tights. Try bright colors or patterns. If you're unsure exactly how to pull it off, pick up any fashion magazine for ideas.
