I don't know if it's just me, but these shoes do not look right. I like them, and they are hot, but it's just the heel. I wonder how anyone will be able to stand, let alone walk in these shoes.
Don't get me wrong. I love the color, the ruched suede, and the overall look. I am just a little concerned about ankle safety here.

I would be more worried about wallet safety than ankle safety. That is an outsize sum to spend an ill-considered mash up of trends.
These shoes just look odd to me. The blue ruched material is gorgeous, but the whole shoe looks contorted. I'd love to just see a ruched bootie (similar to the Atwood booties we saw) in this gorgeous color w/ no peep toe, covered platform, and normal heel. So basically a completely different shoe! i have to totally agree with you. these look wrong! however i can see what the designer was trying to do. they look like a pair of high heels that an alien in star trek would wear which i guess is quite a feat but in a normal situation these shoes are just alien. but you can see the designer trying to update the infamous comma heel here i just dont think it worked with the right upper. its like he tried to combine 2 different kinds of shoes in 1.
I have to see those boots, I agree with you, the whole nail thing bother me because somehow it represent pain (the cross ) and associating women shoes with pain, is kind of akward.
But it is only my opinion.

Great color. But they look like an accident waiting to happen. Not balanced at all.
Yeah, these are a little awkward. And once, a shoe salesman at Neiman's told me that that type of curved heel always breaks, a lot of people come back & return that style of shoe or have to get it repaired...
Oh well! thank you for the tip, the heel look weird and uncomfortable, but the shoes are kind of spectacular .

I can definitely see that heel snapping easily, and I would be pretty irritated considering they cost that much!!
