So, you may be wondering, "Why are these super sexy leather boots only $895 when all the others are at least 1 G?!" Well, friend that's because they are not leather. Staying true to her green/vegan self, Stella McCartney only makes animal friendly designs.  Slip on one of these bad boys, and I doubt you will be missing the cow-skin...

These definitely call for a mini dress, no ifs, ands or buts!!

I have mixed feelings when it comes to these boots. The damask velvet fabric makes me believe that these boots were made from what was leftover of curtains from Saddam Hussein's palaces, but I like the overall look and the curved wedge heel (tres rock 'n roll). So, what would you pair with these boots? Any suggestions?

Desirable: Chloe Crocodile Wrapped Pump (Might be available at select Chloe boutiques in August)  Chloe

This pair of insanely fabulous pumps is part of the Fall 2008 Chloe runway shoe collection. I don't think these shoes will ever translate to real life, but we can always hope for a more everyday version soon!

Affordable: Joie Oxford Vintage Bootie

Joie Fall 2008 is all about vintage leather and classic and elegant, yet sexy shoes. I particularly love these Oxford Vintage Booties. I will wear them with skirts and colorful opaque tights or just simply with pants or jeans.

Repulsive: Stella McCartney Sock Ankle Bootie

Last year, these hideous styles were everywhere except for on women's feet, so you would think designers got the message! Fashionistas don't want to be caught wearing ugly socks let alone to have them attached to their shoes. But no! Apparently the message didn't reach Stella McCartney, who again has created a monstrosity!

Although I like the edginess and funkiness of these shoes, they still look weird. They remind me a little of Geishas shoes meet pogo sticks!! The world might feel different perched on such heels, but I am very concerned about the safety of our ankles.

These shoes could be fun to wear to a seated event only, but the price tag remains really high for such a pair of shoes that you can only wear rarely.

Stella McCartney has recently launched her e-commerce site, and it's really nice, I love the landing page and the web-site offers a beautiful selection of shoes and handbags.

I totally fell in love with this pair of diamante platform sandals. They remind me of fairy shoes; they have a very delicate feel to them.  I love the mix of wood and rhinestones.  It adds a very etheral look to these absolutely stunning shoes.

Stella McCartney has a great way of celebrating Spring with these super adorable " floral ankle wrap" platform sandals. What a cheerful adorable sandal! I love them.  There is something refreshing about these shoes that makes me feel happy. And the wood platform is a season must have.

They would look fabulous with summer dresses and with jeans.

Okay, I think it's official. Stella McCartney has lost her mind when it comes to prices! I mean these lucite heel sandals are cute, but they are still plastic for God's sake.

I know they are designer shoes and blahblah blah, but nothing justifies this kind of price... especially when you know that you are going to end up with blistery feets.

I am usually a big fan of Stella McCartney, but truth is I am not sure about these shoes. First of all, their price tag is extremely high (even for such a sophisticated pair of slides).

I like the beading a lot but I am not crazy about the satin bow -- and I can imagine that the wooden sole is going to be very hard on our footsie.

TheShoeGoddess is turning a year old this month! I never imagined what a fantastic journey I was about to embark on when I first started selling my shoes on E-bay to raise money to support APCH, my favorite charity.

After receiving a lot of e-mails from e-buyers, asking for shoe advice, I decided to create TheShoeGoddess, a small blog for shoe lovers. What started as a fun little shoe lover site has grown beyond my expectations.

I couldn't handle it alone anymore, and this is when Randy came aboard (TheShoeGoddess' fabulous web designer), followed by Hilary,  And recently a new contributor from New York, Gallit, has joined the blog and will contirbute regularly.

Our commitment to our dear readers is to improve our site, bring new features, interesting designer interviews, as well as introduce talented new designers. Stay tuned!

As I look forward to many more years of blogging and sharing my passion for shoes, thank you all for your continuous support.

Here's a little treat for you all as we get closer to Valentines' day -- a glimpse into "the pink department" of my shoe collection.

You know Florence and I get nervous when it comes to plastic shoes.  But my mom has me convinced, the right pair can be most comfortable.  Well since I'm in the mindset to give 'em a try, what better pair then these ultra sleek Stella McCartney's?
