Nothing basic about these stunners... very similar to a pair of YSLs I just saw, at about the same price (a tad cheaper) and just as beautiful. I love the black slick patent leather in a flat boot, because it says "cat woman" without having to do death defying stunts (i.e. walking in stiletto boots!) I would pair these with a pair of leggings and a cute oversized sweater for fall (like a riding boot, but not.)

Lately we have seen these boots in almost every magazine. Again, Nicholas Ghesquiere for Balenciaga has managed to deliver an unexpected and eccentric shoe collection for fall.
I like these rubber and leather boots, although they are not for everyone to wear. The rubber adds an airy and soft look to these super stylish shoes. I don't believe they will be that difficult to pair.

They are also available in black leather and black and purple suede. Although I am a little too old for this style, I adore these boots. Fringe boots are super fun and adorable to wear, but be aware that there is a fine line between being whimsical and being tacky. So, if you decide on a pair of fringe boots, make sure that they do not have too high of a heel or a platform.

I really don’t care for this brand at all. I usually think their shoes either look odd or dowdy, and these shoes are no exception. The leather looks really luxurious, and it’s a pretty shade of beige, so it’s a shame the shape of these boots is so strange. The shape of the boot top is just weird and too loose. I haven’t tried them on, but it looks to me that they will almost look like they are too big on the ankle. And the heel just doesn’t go with the rest of the boot. Plus, the white of the platform just detracts from the nice leather, and makes the whole shoe look cheap.
