By now, everyone knows that I basically love all Christian's styles, but these.....

I don't get it.  I want to say "mais ca va pas Christian?" (what's wrong Christian?).

Wait...maybe that day Christian was designing some private label collection for a nursing home in the surbubs of Paris, and these shoes were just misplaced with the hot ones?

That is the best explanation I can come up with........ Seriously, "c'est pas genial!"

I have a very special relationship with the color pink so obviously when I came across these "espadrilles" it was love at first sight.

I love the raw silk material. It adds a very Indian yet sophisticated feel to this elegant version of the classic espadrille.

As we start to see everywhere, espadrille shoes are a must have this spring. I like these trendy foiled leather version of the classic espadrille. that is the trademark of Castaner. 

Castaner is a Spanish born compagny that has been making espadrille shoes since 1927, along its own collecton Castaner has been designing espadrille for prestigious brand like Hermes, Christian Dior, Chanel to name a few.

These foiled leather espadrille is the perfect summer every day shoes, casual comfy and yet chic. I will pair these shoes with cute white cotton dresses, denim skirts and basically any summery outfit.

I love the T-strap, don't get me wrong, but something about it really cuts off the line of the leg and makes me look shorter (I'm only a whopping five-six, so I can't really deal with things of that nature...) BUT, if I could pull off the T-strap, I would love to do it in citrusy style with these fine espadrilles.  I'd pair these with a bathing suit cover up and bikini in south beach... ooo la la.

Espadrille shoes are making a huge come back, but nothing new about that, only that now the new generation of espadrille are sexy yet elegant and so comfortable.

I love these pink and sophisticated wedge espadrille, these shoes are made to walk all summer long, they are flirty dresses best friend, but they will look fabulous with tiny short in a very Brigitte Bardot style.

My only fear is to see the ankle ribbon slide miserably down the ankle and then we have to spend the entire day or night pulling it up!!!!

Ok let's not be negative and hope for the best.

As you know, there are some web-sites that I particularly love and where I shop all the time. It is a wonderful way to save time, as so many women are crazy busy with their lives today. Even for the lucky ones who don't have to work, on-line shopping is a fabulous experience. Christian Louboutin gray and white canvas espadrilles are very summery and very cute. The front white ribbon is the perfect deatil and the wedge is not too high. However, be aware that these kind of tie around the ankle shoes can become very awkward and make our ankle look like sausages if too tight.

When I first saw these Jimmy Choo sandals I was attracted to them, but something about them was bothering me. I think it's the color gold that is a little too bright, but at a sale price maybe I'll give them a try?

These Jimmy Choo white patent sandals are to die for. White patent is always elegant and I think white shoes with beige and navy is very chic. It can also be very seductive with a black dress.

I have a little soft spot for these red wedges. They transition easily and will look so good with any type of clothing this summer. The wooden platform adds a 70's feel.

These suede wedges are a must have for the summer. They can be casual or conservative, depending on the outfit. I think they are timeless and extremely comfortable.

These ballet flats can be a great alternative to the Lanvin. Not only are they way cheaper but they are just as cute and comfortable as well.
