Peep-toes continue to be all the rage for fall, and I love that it’s now chic to wear them with tights! Black and gray tights are obvious, but I also encourage you to mix it up with some fun patterns or even bright colors.

Ruthie is not only a talented designer, but her love of modernism, technology and high fashion translates perfectly into her fabulous designs. Her shoes are like no other designer's. They are edgy and funky with a chic twist.
Her shoes can go from punky chic to super classic in the blink of an eye. My favorite style are these super hot walnut and grape nut Mary Jane pumps. I love the mix of shiny patent leather with the matte suede buckle and the funky bolts on the wooden heel. You will definitely be the center of attention in these babies! And they will look fab paired with a mini and black tights.

Yes, you read it just fine. Marni has made a plastic shoe!! Well, truth is I am not a big fan. The idea is great, but the execution is not convincing to me at all.
I don't really like the look the rubber gives to these shoes, they look like they are straight from a cheap mold.

I think it's safe to say that I am mourning the loss of the Marc Jacob's designs I used to know and love. These are ok, but not fantastic and I want fantastic!! They're a little 'old lady' and I honestly just wouldn't buy them (which is what he wants, believe me.)

For my 13th birthday, my grandmother gave $150. The first thing I did was run to Charles Jourdan (who at the time was one of the hottest shoe designers in Paris), and I bought a pair of electric blue peep-toe pumps.
When I came across this pair of shoes, it reminded me some fond memories. I like the elegant style, but I am not sure about the color! I love blue--don't get me wrong--but I have a difficult time thinking about what kind of outfit will look good paired with these shoes. Any suggestions?

This deep reddish brown is all over for Fall. The satin is spectacular for the tribute pump. The lines are soft and the platform perfect (as always.) What else can we ask for? I would do these for evening with a cream colored dress or even something fun like a cobalt blue.

Ah Chicago, my home town. It may not be the fashion capital of the world, but it's got soul. Last weekend, I packed my bags (full of shoes obviously) and boarded a plane back to the Windy City for Mother's Day and some partying with old friends.
(Sidenote: while going through security, some of the TSA workers thought it would be funny to tell me that there is a new FAA regulation of no more than 5 pairs of shoes per passenger! HA! Good thing I wasn't running late! I digress...)
FRIDAY NIGHT was my dear friend, Liz's birthday. We had dinner at Sushi Samba (could we be any more Sex and the City?) then headed out to a club downtown called, Underground. SO much fun, and THIS is what I wore:

These platforms do not disappoint! This is a great investment shoe. You will be able to wear it with anything for many years to come. And, as we’ve said before, platforms are so comfortable that you really can wear these shoes 8 to 5. Plus, they’ll carry you into the evening as well!
I can't say this enough: I'm obsessed with flesh toned patent leather. I'm not sure why, I just think it's so sexy and understated and so easy to pair with anything. These Mary Janes are no exception. Amazing front platform. I would literally do these with anything, that's how versatile they are (okay maybe not sweatpants ha!)
