I’m of two minds when it comes to this Giuseppe Zanotti slide. If this shoe were in all black with a pink or white flower, I would love it, with no reservations. But the crocodile rosette and the metallic ombré heel, do make it new and edgy. I think it’s fun, but I’m not sure this is a shoe you would wear season after season.
Adding a twist to a classic shape, Lanvin decided to add a little heel and slingback to its ballet flat, creating a slingback mule of sorts. I really like these shoes, I just wonder what they would look like on me. I would do them with a flowy floral number because these shoes need something ultra feminine.

Yick. I'm sorry, but why did anyone have to create these? What was the vision behind these shoes? I'm just not impressed. The print is utterly unattractive (who said it was ok to mix three different animal prints in one shoe? I must have missed that fashion seminar....

First of all, I hate mules, because they are a weird hybrid combination of a pump that's lost its back. These St. Tropez mules are simply hideous. Isn't St. Tropez supposed to convey glamour? "MAIS quelle horreur!" My advice is to avoid these shoes, unless you are going to attend a trailer park vacation...

Well, we are back in L.A. after a wonderful WSA experience in Vegas... But I have to say, the weather here is less than welcoming!! Rain rain, go away... Then again, these crumby showers bring May flowers! And what better way to chase away winter blues than these beautiful Rosebud mules? I certainly can't think of a sexier way! I can see these being a breath of fresh air paired with a simple black dress (maybe Herve Leger? I'm obsessed with the body hugging designs..)

Eye rolling and nostril flaring come naturally when I hear the words 'Paris Hilton' muttered. So when I heard Antebi Footwear and Paris Hilton were launching her eponymous shoe line I had to do some digging.
"I have always loved shoes, and after working on my recently launched sportswear and fragrance lines, this seemed like a natural next step," the heiress said.
Paris is like Donald Trump; they both pimp their names out to every conceivable product. Shoes seem befitting, but thinking about young girls seeking to buy these shoes to be "just like her" kinda bothers me. Take a look at these two numbers:

I suppose the red mule could be cute (although not my taste- the angle on the wedge is too low) and the pink satin ballet style platforms have that wrapped sole (which normally I love) and a lot of potential, but these seem home-sewn. I can smell el-cheapo from a mile away. Plan to keep my eyes peeled for future models and discuss with you! What do you guys think?
Actually more I am looking at these mules more I am wondering what's the low down on these shoes? They remind me of the glamorous 1920's era, like if they were coming out of Andre Perugia's atelier Andre Perugia.
These shoes will surely make a statement, but to me what belongs to a boudoir stays in a boudoir, these mules will look gorgeous with a silk deshabille........
