Those shoes are called Richelieu. They were named after the famous Cardinal of Richelieu, minister of Louis the XIII king of France.
Those shoes are a far reminder of the one worn at "la cour de France"
I love them they are as pretty as a pair of pump,with the comfort of sneakers perfect for a day out .They look fantastic with skirts adding a very classy touch.

I am not usually a Gucci fan,but I have to admit their fall shoe line is fantastic,those flannel gray and gold richelieu are just..."sublime"
