Although I know this has nothing to do with fashion, here at theshoegoddess.net we are lovers of the arts, and I myself was a huge fan of Australian born actor Heath Ledger, who was found dead this afternoon in his Broome St. apartment in NY. Â
Heath was best known for his role in the 2005 filmÂ
Brokeback Mountain, and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actor in said film.  He was truly a versatile artist in an industry full of typecast actors.  I loved him in
10 Things I Hate About you, I'm Not There (the Bob Dylan Bio-pic)
and Candy. IMdB
The last film I saw him in (i've seen too many to remember) was Candy (this was only a few short days ago.) It was an Australian film about two lovers in love with love and unfortunately, with heroine. It was eery to hear that he died of a drug overdose, according to AP.
He was a father and a great contributor to the film industry and will be greatly missed. To never see him grace the silver screen again is a tragedy in and of itself.

This was truly is a tragedy..he was def a talent. I feel sad for his family and I just hope they find comfort in each other through this difficult time.

I never though I would ever see this day. Heath Ledger was my favorite actor and he dies spontaneously. I regret having to write a comment on this blog about his passing. He was a really talented actor. Even though Heath is not with us anymore we will always remember him in our hearts. Let him rest in peace and we will always love you!
