Oh gosh, BTDT! I went to a wedding once and really didn't know if it was indoor or outdoor. It was Savannah, GA in the dead of summer. We were about to die of heat, I was being bitten by mosquitoes, and my shoes kept sinking in the grass. Miserable! LOL!
I just had to chime in here as well. Ladies (and gents) you are going to LOVE the new site. First of all, it's gorgeous! Second, we will be introducing some cool new features! I can't wait!
I must share that I finally ordered the Kirkwood sandals (I've been lusting after them since Bridget from Madison tried them on for us)! I can't wait until they get here! With the sale price, and I got an extra 20 percent off from a coupon code I found online, I just couldn't resist!
Oh wow, Hilary! These are gorgeous! They are very romantic. Ralph Lauren has these gorgeous blouses that would be perfect with these boots and skinny jeans to create a romantic/peasant/equestrian look!
Wow. I'm so glad your family will be able to go back. That's how it is with us and St. George Island. It's so nice when you can vacation as a family and you have those great memories that even go back to childhood!
Yes, it is definitely a challenge to have large feet, but it does seem like more and more designers are expanding their sizes. I do like the no prive style. I also have some simple closed-toe slingbacks from him, I love dearly, in black patent! I bought the minibouts and I don't know how anyone can wear those! They are so narrow, even in the correct size!!
I love those loubies, and they are definitely on my "lust" list!
Wow, what a great trip! Stay tuned because we are going to launch shoe guides for cities across the U.S and globe throughout the year, and I'm sure we'll do London at some point! Thanks for the recommendation!
Oh wow! Don't you love it?! I have 2 dogs (soon to be 3, if I can convince my husband!) and I love that I can take them with me! It's so peaceful and non-commercial!
By the way, I'm loving hearing where everyone loves to vacation! I'm taking notes for future vacations!!
Oh and in case you guys didn't notice, Joie has offered to give away 2 more pair of sandals, so you have an even better chance of winning!! Good luck!
Thanks for your comment. If you notice, Hilary wrote the original entry, and Florence wrote the second. Fortunately for all of us, we all have different taste and even among the 3 of us, we differ at times! That's the beauty of fashion and taste! At times we will feature a shoe again if something comes up that is newsworthy or if one of us has a differing opinion. I hope that explains it! Thanks for letting us know your thoughts, though!
Hmm....I don't even know what to think about these! I don't know what is wrong with me, but I'm oddly drawn to them! LOL! But no worries, I would look ridiculous in them!!! And they're the kind of shoe that might be cool to wear once, but the novelty would wear off really quickly!!
I must add that I had the pleasure of meeting Bridget and shopping at her fabulous store too, and she is soooo sweet and knowledgeable. I absolutely loved the store, and she features such a carefully edited selection. I know that anything I pick from Madison is going to be super trendy and chic!
Wearing thongs can be a pain at first. You kind of have to develop callouses in the area, and then you're fine. Another option is to try a blister prevention product that rolls on or can rubbed into your skin.
That's what I think! I am not devoted to any brand, and will buy shoes all across the price spectrum, but some shoes are just so fabulous, you must buy the real thing! :)
You're right! And we all have different tastes! I don't think these would be comforable, but you never know! Besides the bizarre heel, I like the sandals!
No problem--if you or any of our readers would ever like cheaper options for particular styles, just leave me a comment, and I'm happy to search the web for you! I love scouring the web with a mission:)
